The Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce and the Council of Small Business Executives named Bartelt. The Remodeling Resource to its executive list of Metro Milwaukee's Future 500" fastest growing companies in 1999. Bartelt. The Remodeling Resource remained on this list in 2000 and 2001, and qualified for the master Mettle Award, and were awarded this honor in 2001.

To be eligible for this award, a company must be privately owned; younger than 10 years old; located in Milwaukee, Waukesha, Ozaukee, or Washington County; and display growth in sales and employment. If the company makes this list three times, they are bestowed the Master Mettle Award.
