Press Release: Bartelt. The Remodeling Resource named NATIONAL CONTRACTOR OF THE YEAR

The National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) named Bartelt. The Remodeling Resource, of Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin the 2006 National Contractor of the Year (CotY) in the Residential Interior over $100,000. category of its annual awards competition.

Bartelt. The Remodeling Resource has won seven National Contractor of the Year Awards since 1993. They specialize in residential and commercial remodeling, additions and custom homes. The NARI contractor of the Year Awards is widely considered the premier competition of its kind throughout the remodeling industry.

Contractors from seven regions around the country vie for CotY Awards on an annual basis, and all regional winners were eligible for National CotY Awards at NARI's Evening of ExcellenceSM on March 18 at the Cathedral Hill Hotel in San Francisco. Judging for regional awards took place at the Association�s national headquarters in Des Plaines, Illinois, in mid-January. An impartial panel of judges who are experts within the industry and associated fields, selected winners based on each entrant's "before and after" photography and project description. Judging was based on problem solving, functionality, aesthetics, craftsmanship, innovation, degree of difficulty and entry presentation.

The Evening of Excellence is widely considered to be the premier event of the year in the remodeling industry. Held on March 18, 2006 at the Cathedral Hill Hotel in San Francisco, the event was be attended by more than 375 of the industry's elite remodelers.
