THE CHALLENGE
Now that their family has grown up, it was the perfect time for our homeowners to reconnect with their 1960's center entrance colonial. They loved their Brookfield location, but the homes compartmentalized organization was not conducive to their larger family gatherings. They decided to remodel their existing kitchen into a entertaining style kitchen and family living space. As part of this project they also remodeled their existing three season room into a year around sunroom. It made perfect sense to remodel their home, rather than consider moving away from a home filled with so many memories. |
THE SOLUTION
The goal of this project was to open up the home's interior by moving the kitchen to the front of the house. This allowed for the family entertaining spaces to flow freely into each other, providing plenty of space for family and friends to connect with each other. We converted the existing three season room into a year around sunroom. The new entertaining style kitchen and sunroom reflects the casual elegance they desired while overlooking their outdoor swimming pool.
