THE CHALLENGE
This 1960s home had a partially finished lower level, and the owners decided that they wanted to remodel and finish the space for entertaining. The clients wanted to:
- Open the basement floor plan
- Upgrade the finishes to reflect Old World European aesthetics
- Reface the existing Z-brick fireplace
- Design a home theater
- Build a wet bar and make space for their wine collection
- Create a game room

THE SOLUTION

- A wine tasting room with ample storage
- A Natural Lannon Stone fireplace
- A distressed, arched cherry door and cabinetry
- Hammered copper countertops
- A pub-style table made from a wine barrel
- A new location for the existing mechanicals
