THE CHALLENGE
When the clients purchased this home in 1977, they remodeled the home with a Southwestern contemporary feel. Thirty years later they were ready to remodel again. The owners wanted to:

- Open up the kitchen for entertaining

THE SOLUTION

- Soffit details in the ceiling that appear to be suspended from the ceiling and beams
- An open space that wraps around the fireplace to give a contemporary feel
- Custom maple cabinetry with cherry panels
